My life experiences

As most people in life, I have experienced enough challenging life events to write a book, which one day I might! Some of these experiences have caused feelings of anxiety, depression, fear, loss, anger, grief, courage, change, forgiveness and self-love. I have been ‘running up that hill’ to find happiness in life again and can honestly say that I have reached the top of the hill. I still have lots of difficult issues to navigate on a daily basis but I feel an emotional resiliance to dealing with problems in a positive way, being able to let go of negative thoughts and be open to choices. Instead of listening to negative talk, I tune into my intuition, which gives me the clarity I require to make better choices in life.
My challenging life experiences give me some insight and empathy into helping you, I do not know your unique struggles but having been through therapy, which helps me to understand your pain and how difficult a journey you have been on and the process of going through counselling.
I have an optimistic outlook on life, manage my own business, work at a school supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs. I have a loving family, friends, two furry friends, who give me so much support and encouragement. I find being creative calming, so handmade creations make me happy. I try to ‘go with the flow’, have fun and remember to have the essence of love in everything I do.
